ABOUT US

Established back in 1995 by childhood mates, Chilla and Ross,Living Canvas Tattoos were the first studio to open in the Diamond Valley. Growing up and attending High School together, the boys had a shared vision of opening in their hometown of Eltham.
Gaining permission from local council proved a battle,
but approval was finally granted. After 22 solid years in the industry, Living Canvas Tattoos has become one of the most respected and well-known tattoo studios in the area. Chilla and Ross are very proud of their team of talented local artists who share a genuine passion for producing quality tattoos and unique designs.

ARTISTS

A free hand artist, Ross began tattooing in 1989.
Tattooing in all forms and designs.

"He’s done it all”. Ross specialises in portraits, Japanese and classic designs.

ROSS

Chilla began tattooing back in  1989,

along side his mate Ross.

Today Chilla prefers and specialises in

script writing and small detail designs.

(He likes to take it easy )

CHILLA

Matty has been tattooing since 2007.

He is capable in all styles but specialises

in large scale Japanese works.

 

MATTY

In 2010 Big Beau joined our
team at Living canvas.
He specialises in neo traditional,
old school and Japanese designs.

BIG BEAU

Cody Wilson has a broad range of artistic interests

that he brings to his tattooing.

Specialising in minimal, neo traditional and

grey wash pieces. You will also find a wide range

of flash available in Cody's portfolio.

CODY

Cam (Fergs) began tattooing in 2009.

His tattooing style refined from there. Heavily influenced by classic traditional tattoo designs. Although his preferred style is old school

traditional, Cam is also proficient in Neo trad and custom lettering styles.

PRICES

 

Total price of your tattoo is worked out between you and your artist, prior to getting tattooed. Once you give them your design and decide what you want they can give an estimate on how long it will take and quote what it will cost you. We suggest dropping into the studio to have a chat with us.

CARING FOR YOUR TATTOO

  • Avoid drinking alcohol the night before.
  • Make sure you are well rested and get a good nights sleep.
  • Drink plenty of water and stay well hydrated.
  • Eat a good meal before you arrive.
  • Wear comfortable loose fitting clothes.
  • Please give us 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment
  • Remove the Glad Wrap 1-2 hours after being tattooed.
  • Wash thoroughly with warm soapy water.
  • Pat dry with clean towel.
  • Apply Bepathen Antiseptic cream to the area with clean fingertips.
  • Continue applying Bepathen Antiseptic cream after washing 3 x a day for 2 weeks.
  • No swimming or soaking in salt or chlorinated water,spa baths,rivers or bath water etc for two weeks.
  • Use only clean running water to clean your tattoo.
  • Do not touch,pick or scratch any scabs that may form on your tattoo.
  • No sun exposure for 2 weeks.After this period sun block must be applied.
